ABOUT THIS ROLE
GSE FLEET MECHANIC
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking mechanics to join North Fleet Services as GSE Mechanics. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety and reliability, and has the technical skills to keep Ground Support Equipment running at peak performance.

In this role, you’ll inspect, maintain, and repair GSE to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant, and ready to support operations.
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH
As a GSE Mechanic, you’ll be based at one of our shops located near the transportation gateway. You’ll work as part of a team of mechanics and stay in close communication with operations supervisors, ramp workers, and our client’s supervisors to ensure equipment is serviced and ready to keep operations moving safely and efficiently.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ground Support Equipment (diesel, gas, hydraulic, and electrical systems)

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment reliable and compliant

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic lifts, conveyors, tugs, and other GSE systems

Inspect and test completed work to ensure safety and quality standards

Complete accurate service records and maintain compliance documentation

Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

Support teammates with knowledge-sharing and assist when needed
YOU MIGHT BE OUR PERSON IF YOU...

Have hands-on experience working with and diagnosing engines, hydraulics, or electrical systems

Can read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders

Welding or fabrication experience

Forklift certification

This is a permanent, full-time position working independently at our shop and transportation locations.
We are seeking dependable mechanics who are committed to safety, reliability, and quality service.
